Kitten is being fed: Royal Canin BABYcat can food, and Science Diet Indoor dry kitten food. Two supplements are sprinkled over the dry food #1 Digestive Enzymes with Probiotics & Prebiotics made by NaturVet #2 Virayls made by Vetquinol. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THE FOOD AS THIS OFTEN CAUSES AN ENZYME SHOCK, WHICH THEN CAUSES LOOSE STOOL. The dry food will be confirmed at time of adoption.
Conditions of the Sale
Seller guarantees that this kitten is healthy to the best of her knowledge.
Buyer has 72 hours to take the kitten to the vet for a health exam, if any health concerns are found, the buyer may return kitten to the seller within 72 hours with an explanation from the attending vet. No medical or travel charges will be refunded.
During this first 72 hours the kitten should be isolated from any other
pets and monitored for health, eating, litter box usage and activity level.
The seller is not responsible for any injury or illness to other pets
caused by exposure to this kitten.
Under no circumstances will this cat or kitten be sold, leased or given away to any pet store, research laboratory, breeding mill or similar facility.
This kitten should never be given a feline leukemia, feline aids or FIP vaccine. These vaccines usually make kittens
very sick and can be fatal. If any of these vaccines are given to the kitten, the health guarantee becomes null and void. This is an indoor kitten that does not need these type of vaccines.
This cat or kitten will be kept indoors and not be allowed to roam freely outdoors.
If this kitten was purchased whole, it is agreed that the kitten will be altered before the age of 6 months. With proof of altering sent to the seller. Seller will then issue registration papers within 30 days. If this kitten was purchased altered, then registration papers will be sent within 30 days of the sale. The kitten should be paid in full two weeks prior to adoption unless other arrangements have been agreed upon.
If the kitten/cat dies within the two years of life due to an inherited genetic disease, buyer must inform seller and provide a necropsy from a certified veterinarian. Seller will then replace said kitten with one of equal quality when one becomes available.

MAKE SURE YOU ASK QUESTIONS PRIOR TO ADOPTING A RAGDOLL - ALL TRUE RAGDOLLS ARE BLUE EYED POINTED CATS. WHEN YOU GO TO WEBSITES THAT STATE RARE SOLID RAGDOLLS, MINK RAGDOLLS OR SEPIA RAGDOLLS, THESE CATS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE WHATSOEVER IN CFA (CAT FANCIER ASSOCIATION ESTABISHED IN 1906) NOR ARE THESE CATS ACCEPTED IN TICA FOR SHOWING IN CHAMPIONSHIP. ANY REGISTRATION ON THE SOLID, MINK OR SEPIA RAGDOLLS IS AN EQUIVELENT TO A HOUSEHOLD PET REGISTRATION. IT IS THE SAME TYPE REGISTRATION AS ADOPTING A SHELTER CAT AND DECIDING TO SHOW IT AS A HOUSEHOLD PET.
MOST OF YOUR BACK YARD BREEDERS AND KITTY MILLS ARE REGISTERING WITH ACA. ACA IS ONLY A REGISTRATION COMPANY THAT DOES NOT COMFIRM BREED STANDARDS NOR DO THEY HAVE SHOWS TO JUDGE CATS. With ACA, it's a registry that people who've bred CATS use to 'register' CATS that can't be registered with CFA, for whatever reason (mixed breed, don't meet the standard, or whatever). They can have a health certificate, but that just means a vet looked at them and didn't see any obvious health problems. ACA CATS cannot be registered with CFA OR TICA. You can trace pedigrees with ACA, BUT DON'T BE SHOCKED AT THE LINEAGE. IN THE STATE OF LOUISIANA, THERE IS ONE BREEDER THAT IS BREEDING PERSIANS AND HIMALAYAN TO HER RAGDOLL CATS AND THEN SELLING THESE CATS AS RAGDOLLS if they have blue eyes, and if not, then she calls them Ragamuffins WITH ACA REGISTRATION. THIS RUINS ANY DNA TESTING FOR THE RAGDOLL HCM MUTATION BEING ACCURATE NOT TO MENTION THESE ARE MIXED BREED RAGDOLL KITTENS AND NOT TRUE FULL-BLOODED RAGDOLLS. THERE ARE ALSO SEVERAL BREEDERS IN THE STATE OF TEXAS BREEDING RAGDOLLS WITH OTHER BREEDS, BUT CALLING THE KITTENS PRODUCED RAGDOLLS.
THE REASON YOU WILL SEE MANY BREEDERS USE ACA IS TO TRY TO LOOK LIKE A LEGITIMATE BREEDER OF REGISTERED RAGDOLL KITTENS. HOWEVER, THIS REGISTRATION IS LIKE REGISTERING YOUR MIXED BREED HOUSEHOLD PET. SOME BREEDERS WILL CLAIM TO HAVE A CFA CATTERY. ANYONE CAN APPLY FOR A CFA CATTERY NAME OR A TICA CATTERY NAME, BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT THEIR KITTENS OR CATS ARE REGISTERED IN THE ORGANIZATIONS.
THE OTHER PROBLEM THAT I AM FINDING IN THE CAT WORLD IS BREEDERS ARE NOT TAKING THEIR KITTENS TO THE VET. THEY DO SOME OF THE VACCINES THEMSELVES AND HAND YOU A BOGUS BOOK OF VACCINES. WHEN ADOPTING MAKE SURE TO CONFIRM THAT THE KITTENS WILL HAVE BEEN TO A VET A MINIMUM OF TWICE FOR A FULL PHYSICAL, VACCINES, FECAL PANEL, ETC... OTHERWISE, YOU DO NOT HAVE A REAL HEALTH WARRANTY ON YOUR KITTEN. MANY BREEDERS CAN NOT EVEN TELL YOU HOW MANY DNA GENETIC TESTS CAN BE DONE ON A RAGDOLL TO CONFIRM HEALTHY LINES ADDITIONALLY, MANY BREEDERS WILL POST THAT THEY DNA TEST, BUT HAVE NO PROOF.
WHEN YOU VISIT A CATTERY THAT HAS SEVERAL CAGED AREAS, CLAIMS TO DO $300 TO $400 IN MEDICAL WORK YET THE BREEDER IS DOING THE VACCINES HERSELF NOT AT A VET'S OFFICE, $300 IN DNA TESTING AND CHARGES SALES TAX, YOU ARE VISITING A KITTY MILL. AN ETHICAL BREEDER THAT CARES ABOUT THE KITTEN'S HEALTH IS USING A QUALIFIED VET AND BRINGS THE KITTENS AT LEAST TWO TO THREE TIMES FOR ALL VACCINES, FECAL PANELS, PHYSICALS, PRE-OP BLOOD WORK, TEMPERATURE MICROCHIP, NEUTER/SPAY, HEART CHECKS, ETC. AND GIVES YOU A VET BOOK WITH EVERYTHING ITEMIZED FROM THE VET'S OFFICE. THE PARENT'S OF THE KITTENS WILL HAVE BEEN DNA TESTED TO ENSURE THAT THEY ARE NEGATIVE OF ANY GENETIC DISEASES. IF A BREEDER TELLS YOU THAT THEY ARE DOING $300 IN DNA TESTING, PLEASE ASK TO SEE THE RESULTS AND VERIFY THAT ALL 51 GENETIC TESTS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED. IF YOU ONLY SEE ONE OR TWO DNA TESTS, THEN YOU MAY BE ADOPTING A KITTEN WITH GENETIC DISEASES. All of my kittens are very socialized being around our six grandchildren. We had six children which now range in age from 22 to 37 years old, so we have a large growing family. The youngest son, Zack is a biomedical engineer student at LSU, and our youngest daughter, Christie is trying to finish her RN nursing degree at University of Houston. Our nine-year-old granddaughter, AnnaBelle lives with us after the death of our oldest daughter, Katie in March 2016. AnnaBelle attends St. Anne Catholic school. Life is busy with our younger children and raising a grandchild.
As for the furry children, my kittens are not caged nor are the adults that supervise the humble servants of the house. All of my kitten's parents have been DNA tested for HCM, PKD, PRA and a list of several items to ensure my lines are negative for all of these diseases. Additionally, my adults have been tested for heart worm, feline aids and feline leukemia to insure a healthy cattery. Make sure as you are searching for your new kitten to ask the breeder health questions, because there are several breeders that just want to breed cats and collect a dollar, and then there are those that care about the breed as well as truly love these cats as their family. More than likely, I would be in the classification of needing to be sent to the nut ward due to high numbers of felines sleeping in human beds at night, my house has beautiful cat furniture throughout the thirteen rooms of the main house and has been made comfortable for the furry people as I adore all of the cats and kittens.
