Fire Dancing Cochise - it looks like he is waiting on Doctor Jack for happy hour
August 2006
As you can see I enjoy showing off pictures of my beautiful breathe taking Ragdolls.  My name is Anne Paul, originally from Houston, Texas, but I married a Louisiana boy, and I have lived in Westlake, Louisiana for over 28 years, but may be moving back North of Houston, Texas in the future to be close to my windowed dad and doctors within the next few years as dad is 83 now.  Growing up in Houston, Texas, I was exposed to the cat fancy and had Persian cats with my mom in the 1970's and early 1980's before the breed standard changed.  I miss the days of healthy doll face Persians, but the ragdolls have that beautiful doll face look, which has stole my heart.   Additionally, I went to Texas A & M University , where I majored in Marine Biology, and then went on to McNeese State University for Finance & Economics.  Eric (my husband) and I have six children, Mo (28), Nathan (24), James (23), Katie (20), Christie (17) and the late life baby Zack (13).  In addition to raising six children, I own Properties by Town & Country, LLC located in Westlake, Louisiana that specializes in foreclosure property reviews for government assets, United state treasury work and contracting government work in relationship to real estate.  Therefore, I look forward to coming home to a house full of children and Ragdolls, who act like human children everyday.   A few  weekends a month, the children and I go to the TICA or CFA cat shows throughout the USA lower 48 states and most have went to Alaska back in 2007, where Fire Dancing Cochise became a Supreme Grand Champion.

In addition to cat shows, my life is filled with the children's activities as we still have Christie and Zack in school.   In addition to six children, my oldest son is the father of two little girls, which he has custody taking care of the girls himself,  and my daughter Katie is now married to Tyler Oncale from Thibodaux, Louisiana, and they have a precious new baby girl.  It seems like yesterday that Katie was the little girl clerking at the cat shows and helping me groom the cats.  As the family is increasing, we could almost do our own junior achievement ring at the cat shows.  Mo, my oldest son still comes to many of the cat shows clerking and his daughters are starting to learn about the cats.  At this time, I have completed my requirements to submit my application into the TICA judging program and plan to do so later in 2015.  We are also members of St. John Bosco Catholic Church, and our younger children attend Catholic schools.  I can promise you - life is never dull in our home and all of the cats are well socialized.

Often people ask me why I chose to breed and show Ragdolls with such a full life already, and there are several reasons.  In the early 1980's, my mom introduced me to Ragdolls, and it was always a breed she wanted to become involved with after she retired as a registered nurse at St Joseph Catholic Hospital in Houston.  I was always in love with the breed for many years, but always was saving a stray or helping with finding an abandoned kitty a good home.  However, my mom never got her Ragdolls as she was diagnosed with cancer just after retiring.  After she passed in the first week of January of 2005, my daughter Christie asked me for a Ragdoll to love since Maw-Maw would not be here to love anymore.  I told her that was a great idea, and then it began and I returned to the cat fancy after being gone for many years.  We got a Ragdoll named Sammy from Emily Hiscott / Emily's Ragdolls in Sugarland, Texas, and I was immediately intoxicated by this breed.  Sammy was unlike any cat I had ever had in my life.  He was soft like Rabbit's Fur, big healthy bones & muscles, docile, intelligent, playful, and he truly loved the family.  It was a fight to hold the Ragdoll between Christie and I as well as the rest of the family.  So the mania began, Eric & I agreed that this was a breed we wanted to become involved with by bringing more Ragdolls into our home to love, breeding the best standards of a Ragdoll, and showing our beloved kitty children.   I owe many thanks to the breeders, who mentored me and helped me through the beginnings of Cajun Ragdolls.  Thank you for trusting me with your wonderful kittens: Emilys Ragdolls, Ritzyrags, Bamarags, and Lonerock.
Current titles for our cats and upcoming Cajun Ragdolls headed to the shows are as follows:

Lonerock Dakota Sunshine is a beautiful Lilac Bi-Color born in April 2006.  She is currently a Double Grand Champion. This photo was taken by Helmi Flick.
If you ask Cochise, who owns our home, he will tell you he does.  The humans are allowed to stay in the house to serve the royal Kings & Queens of the house and their children.
Supreme Grand Champion Emilysragdolls Chief Geronimo is our handsome blue lynx bi-color Ragdoll.  Geronimo is a very large boy weighing 19.9 pounds at 13 months old, and he is so full of love.  He likes to kiss the judges at cat shows, so you know he is quite the charmer to get what he wants.  These photos were taken of Geronimo by Helmi Flick on April 8, 2007
What a hard life!  Just laid back & posing for the camera, and he knows he is gorgeous.  Please do not tell him how beautiful he is or he will just look at you and agree.
Double Grand Champion Lonerock Dakota Sunshine is a rare lilac bi-color beauty full of love.  She is truly a daddy's girl as she demands to snuggle up to him while watching TV.
Dakota is such a prissy beauty queen that she thinks she should be a glamor girl model for the different cat magazines.  She has beautiful blue eyes and lilac points that are a very stunning combination.  This girl is only eleven months old and has done very well in the TICA shows as both a kitten and an adult.   She is another one of our adult Radolls that thinks she owns the house taking over the human bed at night and demanding to put her head on a pillow.
